CLV Welcomes HS Principal--Mr. Kyle Yelich

Mr. Yelich

Mr. Kyle Yelich

Hello CLV staff and students and the CLV community!

I am honored to introduce myself as your new High School Principal. My name is Mr. Kyle Yelich, and I am coming to you from Erie 2 BOCES as an administrator in alternative education and staff development. I have been in education for almost 10 years, most of which was spent as a social studies and special education teacher with Randolph Academy UFSD, where I began full time in 2010. Throughout the years, I have also coached seven seasons of Varsity and JV football at Fredonia High School, winning a Far West Regional Championship in 2010.

My career has been built on being an active member in the communities I serve. This all began almost 15 years ago as an active duty military member in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Aircraft Maintainer and Crew Chief on F-15E's, stationed in Texas and North Carolina. That service continued for five years as a National Guardsman stationed in Niagara Falls.

Without a strong working relationship with the community, our school cannot reach its full potential. In that sense, I am very excited to work in the CLV community, as the mutual respect between community members and the school is clearly on display. I will work diligently to drive our school's mission every day with integrity, respect and open lines of communication.

I look forward to our journey ahead, as we strive to be the leaders of Cattaraugus County in education, citizenship and success. From myself, my wife Lindsey and my amazing daughter Kinley, thank you for the opportunity to be an ambassador of leadership in education for our school and community.

Sincerely,

Mr. Kyle J. Yelich
