    Ms. Dani Newman

     
    Ms. Newman 
    I am your MS/HS Library Media Specialist. I graduated with a BA in Broadcast Communications from the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford and a MSEd in Secondary Education in English from St. Bonaventure University. I am currently working toward my Masters in Library and Information Science from the University at Buffalo. Before becoming a librarian, I taught English at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Prior to teaching, I worked as a social worker, specializing in at-risk youth and working with youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 
     
    I have many hobbies! I LOVE to read! I play softball, volleyball, and basketball. I hunt and teach/coach various shooting sports, including archery and rifle. I am active in my local community theatre. I run 5Ks and kayak whenever I can. I am a mother of five and have one grandson. 
     
    I look forward to working with the CLV community as the Library Media Specialist!
