This course addresses accounting concepts and principles applicable to business enterprises. Students will classify items as assets, liabilities or owner’s equity. The advantages and disadvantages of the three forms of business ownership—sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation will be analyzed. Preparation and presentation of a variety of source documents will demonstrate the language of business by recording, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
