Hello! My name is Molly Woodarek and I am the new ELA (English Language Arts) AIS (Academic Intervention Services) teacher for grades 5-8! I am so excited to join the Cattaraugus-Little Valley team and work with your amazing kids! I grew up in the surrounding area, having gone to school and graduated from Ellicottville Central. I went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Inclusive Education from SUNY Fredonia which enabled me to become certified in both Childhood General Education (grades 1-6) as well as Students with Disabilities (grades 1-6). I then chose to continue my education at SUNY Fredonia by earning a Master’s degree in Literacy Education (birth-grade 12).
My favorite time of year is Fall! I love seeing the leaves change colors and being able to watch the Buffalo Bills! In my free time, I love kayaking in the warmer months, snowboarding in the winter, and being around family and friends whenever possible! I also love to travel! I’ve been to France, Belize, and numerous states down the East Coast. Someday I hope to make it to Ireland!
My plan this year is to introduce topics that are of interest to my students so that they can grow and continue to love reading and writing as much as I do! I want to help guide my students along the way so they can become the successful young adults we know they can be!
I am thrilled to be getting to know the students, parents and community members here at CLV. I feel welcomed into the CLV family already and I’m excited for the 2021-2022 school year!
