Vision: The responsibility of the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School District is to educate all students in a collaborative, creative, and competitive environment. We expect our students to excel in all endeavors while we simultaneously nurture their social and emotional development. We will empower our graduates with the tools, skills, and knowledge for future success.
Student Achievement & Well-Being
We will ensure all students have access to a high-quality UPK-12 curriculum that prepares them for college, careers, and lifelong success. Our district is committed to fostering an environment where students achieve academic excellence and develop the social-emotional skills needed for resilience, confidence, and well-being. We will continue to expand programs and resources that address students’ educational and emotional needs while promoting a culture of respect, quality work, ethical decision-making, student voice, and opportunity.
Faculty & Community Engagement
The Board of Education is committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining highly qualified staff while providing the necessary support to ensure their success. We will cultivate a collaborative, inclusive environment that prioritizes student learning, achievement, and well-being.
Community Communication
We will strengthen communication and engagement with families, staff, and the broader community to foster transparency, trust, and collaboration. Through regular updates, accessible resources, and meaningful dialogue, we will ensure stakeholders are informed and involved in the success of our students and district.
Fiscal Responsibility
In partnership with the Superintendent and district leadership, the Board of Education will maintain fiscal responsibility by continuously monitoring and responding to current and projected financial conditions. We will update policies as needed and ensure resources are used effectively to support district goals and student success.
