Our six grade students learned how to use a triple beam scale and graduated cylinders at their science lab together. They learned how to read the instruments to do the math they needed to get the correct answer. Just a few weeks in the Science class and they are all doing an awesome job with the labs!
Also, Science was moved to the library for one day. Students learned how to gather information by doing research on the invention and inventor project that the student picked. They signed out a book and they have started the process.
Finally, sixth graders hiked together in the woods for Fun Friday to burn some energy and act a little bit crazy to start off their weekend.
