On November 13th, 4th grade students participated in the Pack P.R.I.D.E. (Pupils Recognized for Individual Daily Excellence) celebration. We believe that effort and dedication deserve to be celebrated. This program is designed to honor students who consistently demonstrate excellent work ethic, strong attendance, and a commitment to their education. Our students work hard every day, whether it’s through completing assignments with care, participating actively in class, or striving to achieve personal and academic goals. Equally important as hard work is showing up. Attendance plays a vital role in a student’s success and helps create a positive learning environment for everyone.
Each trimester, students who have shown outstanding effort and maintained excellent attendance will earn shopping points that they may spend throughout the trimester. These points may be used to purchase school supplies, toys/gifts, extra lunch privileges/gym time, volunteering in primary classrooms, etc. We want to make sure that all our hardworking students feel appreciated and motivated to continue striving for success.
As a way of recognizing their behavioral and academic successes for the 1st trimester, students spent a fun-filled afternoon playing recess games on the turf on a beautiful afternoon. They were also able to enjoy some drawing time, as well as playing UNO Express, and Monopoly, allowing them time to exercise their bodies and minds with fellow classmates. The afternoon concluded with punch, chips, and wonderful conversations predicting what the P.R.I.D.E. celebration would be for the 2nd trimester.
This program is more than just about earning prizes and an afternoon of fun—it’s about reinforcing the values of discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. By rewarding hard work and attendance, we’re not just acknowledging past accomplishments, but also helping to set the foundation for future success.
As the school year progresses, we look forward to continuing to celebrate the achievements of our students. Keep up the great work, P.R.I.D.E. students—we’re proud of all that you’re achieving!
