May 17, 2025 – Cattaraugus, NY — The Cattaraugus-Little Valley 4x400 relay team made history on Friday night, May 16, at the Super 8’s meet held at Salamanca's track. The team shattered a 23-year-old school record with a remarkable time of 3:39.09, eclipsing the previous mark of 3:40.6 set back in 2002.
The record-breaking relay squad was made up of Conner Mowry, Ben Seiflein, Quinn Janora, and Bransen Gabel. Their performance not only earned cheers from the crowd but also secured a permanent place in Timberwolves athletic history.
When asked, "How do you break a 23-year-old school record?" Coach Schabloski shared her six-step formula for success:
Set an attainable goal
Set your mind to achieving that goal
Believe that you are capable of achieving that goal
Surround yourself with people who believe in you as much as you believe in yourself
Be brave
