The 2024 Fall Athlete/Parent Meeting will be held on July 24th at 6:00 on the stadium field. Individual program meetings will occur at this time and the required paperwork for sports clearance will be addressed at this time. Please be sure to attend this meeting so that the athlete can meet with coaches to discuss the upcoming season and complete the required paperwork for sports clearance. The school nurse will be on hand to take any questions on status of sports physicals. If you know you haven't had a physical within the last year, please schedule one with your primary physician. SRO CAMP at Allegheny- Deputy Will took a small group of middle schoolers to Allegany State Park. During the morning, students hiked, learned about fire safety, beaver ponds, and creek critters. They learned how to navigate with a compass, bird banding as well as visiting stone tower and the fire tower. The students enjoyed daily afternoon activities such as swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Thank you to Deputy Will and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s for an awesome week!!

The Board of Education of the Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School District is actively seeking an individual to fill a vacant seat due to a resignation. Interested parties are invited to submit a letter of interest to Paula Jones, District Clerk, by no later than July 31, 2024.
The Board will review submissions and appoint someone to fill the vacancy through the next election on May 20, 2025. The remaining year of the term will be decided by voters during the annual budget vote and election in May 2025.

Dear Timberwolf Family,
It is with great excitement that I write this message as the new Director of Special Education. I am honored to continue my journey at a school that is close to my heart. From growing up in Cattaraugus, to teaching Kindergarten at CLV for the past 20 years, along with building our forever home here with my husband and daughter, I aspire to give back to a community that has offered me so much over the years. I am eager to take on a larger role and build new relationships with students and families, as well as continue to grow the relationships that I have already created. I am both enthusiastic and prepared to create a successful and welcoming environment for our learners, their families, and our dedicated educators.
I believe that communication is the key to success! In order to accomplish this, I will be sending out stakeholder questionaries mid-July via ParentSquare and will be holding a few Meet & Greet opportunities in early August. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to me for any reason! I look forward to meeting or seeing everyone again very soon!
