Elementary Veteran's Day Assembly was held yesterday afternoon! Special Thank you Mrs. Maguda for putting this on! Mrs. Opferbeck's first grade class led the National Anthem & Mrs. Spruce's first grade class signed the CLV Honor Code. Each grade level Pre-K - 4th grade sings a different branch theme song that they have learned in Music class. 5th/6th graders and Middle School student council presented Thank you Cards for Veterans. Mrs. Dalimonte's Elementary class art work on display! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO ALL OF OUR VETERAN'S!
Retake Picture Information:
Retake Order Codes ONLY apply to those that did not have their picture taken on picture day. If there was a picture from picture day and a retake is requested, please send back any package/pamphlet that was received to give to photographer. Picture retakes are on November 14th. Senior Drape Retakes and MS/HS retakes are held in the theater. Elementary retakes are in the elementary foyer near the health office. Order Codes are only valid until picture days, once retake day is over and pictures are processed, each student will get their own individual order code. Recently Miss Schroder's Engineering in Design class was working on marble rollercoasters, learning about motion and energy transfer. Here are some pictures of the 8th graders who won the contest for the longest coaster and the most complicated coaster. The students had a great time and worked on this project for multiple days only using construction paper and tape.

Red Ribbon Week
This week was Fire Prevention week at the Elementary! Students learned all about fire Safety and got to visit and learn about the fire trucks and things firemen and women do from getting ready to go, to what goes on in a fire. 2 of our own high school students (Patrick Hesse and Luke Mormile) joined in the presentations as well!
